Columbine Parents Sue Anti-Depressant Makers
Posted in Tidbits on October 21, 2001
According to this story on CNN, parents of Columbine victims are now suing the makers of anti-depressant Luvox, claiming one of the killers’ judgment was impaired by the drug. Who’s to say he wouldn’t have done the same thing if his depression hadn’t been treated by the drug? Let’s say my co-worker Joe has a cold, but he takes medicine so he can still go to work. If I catch the cold from Joe, can I sue the cold medicine’s makers since they only hid the symptoms & didn’t cure the cold…? Seems like just another excuse to sue the people who have money.
