Crazy? Who Knows?!

This article [story archived] tells of a research project in which 10 researchers faked their way into being admitted to a phychiatric ward, then acted normal to see if the staff would notice. Apparently not… But when another hospital was (falsely) warned there might be ‘fakes’ there, staff members immediately identified quite a few suspects. Is the line between normality and craziness really that thin?
