OKC Baiting Bass Pro Shop

On Tuesday, the OKC City Council will vote [story archived] on whether to negotiate a deal to bring a Bass Pro Shop to Bricktown. If approved, up to $18 million in tax money could be used to construct a building for the retail store in downtown OKC. What do you think — wonderful opportunity or waste of money? Update (3/5/2002 4:36p.m.): The proposal was approved.
