Searching For A Piece Of Pi
Posted in Fun & Games on March 15, 2002
Friday seems like a good day for useless trivia. So, here ya go: Given that pi has an infinite number of digits, every string of numbers should be in there somewhere — your phone number, birthdate, etc. How do you find where they are? Why, with the Pi Searcher, of course. Granted, this doesn’t search all of pi, but 100 million digits should be enough to find a couple of your favorite numbers.

Check out this website for fun Pi Day songs. Make a Pi necklace. Read some Pi poetry. Or you non-conformists may choose celebrate Pi Approximation Day, on 22/7 (July 22). Who knew there were so many fun things to do with pi?!
