Weekend Winery Trip
Posted in Central Oklahoma Mensa on April 14, 2002
Looking for something to do this coming weekend? Moonfeathers Winery in Guthrie (remember them from last year’s speaker meeting/wine tasting?) is celebrating their first year of business with a wine festival. Includes live music, food, art, crafts — and of course, wine tasting. Several COM members are making the trip. Click ‘Read More’ for the details — we’d love for you to come along!
From their flyer: “Come help us celebrate our first year of business! You are invited to enjoy live music, food, crafts, and great Oklahoma made wine! The party begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2002. There will be local artists, area food venders, and live music from 1 p.m. til 5 p.m. So come out, rain or shine!
“To get here, take I-35 to exit #157 (Guthrie’s north exit). Go east on hwy 33 200 yeards. Go north 1/2 mile on Midwest Blvd/Camp Russell Rd. We are on the east side of the road. (405)282-VINE.”
Billy & Angela Mabray plan on leaving Yukon about noon on Saturday. If you’d like to carpool or caravan, send an email.
