Unrest In The U.S.

This story [Update: broken link removed] from Yahoo News talks about the “malaise” Americans are feeling these days. It mentions the terrorist attacks, Enron, the Catholic church, and various other recent scandals that have led people to question whether any institution can be trusted. In my opinion, this may be a good thing — if Americans start questioning the status quo, perhaps it will shake them from their apathy and cause them to do something about the problems in our society. What do you think?
