Shakespeare In the Park - If you’ve been meaning to go to a Shakespeare in the Park production, this weekend is your last chance this year. Now playing: Macbeth. This is arguably one of the best cultural events in the Oklahoma City area — don’t miss it!


Arts Festival Oklahoma
- An outdoor arts & crafts show, with good music, good food, & free admission. What more could you ask for? The Arts Festival Oklahoma has it all. This year they’re featuring a Native American theme, “Soaring with the Arts.”


Dusk ‘til Dawn Blues Festival - DC Minner’s Dusk ‘til Dawn Blues Festival is in its 12th year, and it still has some of the best blues anywhere. The music doesn’t stop til early in the morning, filling their outdoor and indoor stages with the best in down-home music.

Oklahoma Shakespeare In the Park: OSP holds their performances at Hafer Park in Edmond, and their final show is Sunday, September 1. Performance starts at 8 p.m., with ticket prices $6/adults, $5/students or senions, and free for children under 12. Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are welcome… mosquito spray might not be a bad idea either!


Arts Festival Oklahoma: Held on the campus of
Oklahoma City Community College, at
7777 S. May Avenue in Oklahoma City. Festival hours are Friday 3-9, Saturday 10-10, Sunday 10-9, and Monday 10-5. Admission is free, but parking is $3.


Dusk ‘til Dawn Blues Festival: Dusk ‘til Dawn runs from 5PM ‘til 5AM nightly. Tickets are $15.00 per person/day for adults, free for kids under 12. There’s also a volunteer option — volunteer for three hours to get free admission. See the schedule of events here.
