Building a Better Election

Since election day is tomorrow, I thought this was particularly interesting: an article at Science News Online that discusses why the US voting procedure is not the best way to hold an election. This is not news to some Mensans: the Everything SIG came up with an alternate system (Subsection I-C-4) a year ago.

The article makes an excellent point. But how does one go about getting the voting system changed? Letters to our congressmen (the same ones who were elected using the *current* system)...?
