Supreme Court to review Affirmative Action

The Supreme Court has agreed to debate whether affirmative action programs currently used in some college admissions programs are discriminatory. At issue is whether the programs are beneficial because they promote ethnic diversity in education, or if they should be outlawed for giving minorities special advantages. The case is expected to be decided next June.
