And now, for bits and pieces of recent news stories about Mensa and Mensans, courtesy of M-Morsels:

The Belfast Telegraph reports on a now-Mensan who was once considered a dunce because of a learning disabillity called dyspraxia. In sports, Sarasota Mensa member Dwight Gill uses mathematical analysis to write The Complete Statistical Record of the Worst Franchise in the History of Baseball: The Tampa Bay Devil Rays. [Update: broken link removed] A 97-year old Mensan (reportedly the oldest living member of Mensa in New Jersey) publishes his diaries from World War II. On, the other end of the spectrum, 12-year-old actor — and Mensan — Myles Jeffrey has received his fifth nomination for a Young Artist Award. MSN recently featured a link to a list of famous Mensans [Update: broken link removed]. And finally, a lesson on honesty… One non-Mensan gets caught when a recruiter calls to verify the Mensa membership on his resume.
