MLS Plans Grand Opening Book Passing

Oklahoma City’s Metropolitan Library System (MLS) is planning a Grand Opening Book Passing as part of the opening ceremonies for the new Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library [Update 3/06: Broken link removed]. Book lovers will line the streets downtown, passing books from the old downtown library to the new one, while enjoying complimentary bottled water, live entertainment, and giveaways. To participate in the August 13, 2004, event, be sure to sign up by August 5.
