Colloquium Scholarships, Gifted Children Grants, and More

These upcoming Mensa deadlines and events are brought to you by the AMLNewsFlash and M-Events e-mail lists:

• Colloquium 2005: Earth in Mind will take place March 4-6 in Tucson. MSN Search, one of the event’s sponsors, is offering scholarships to pay the registration fee for up to 20 Mensa members. The Mensa Education and Research Foundation is also sponsoring 20 free registration scholarships to students or educators. To apply for one of these scholarships, please contact American Mensa.
• Gifted Children Program Mini-grant application forms are now available. There are 15 $100 grants available between now and the end of March, and then another 15 for the following fiscal year. If you have ideas for how our local group can provide quality gifted children’s programs, see the application form [Update 1/14/06: broken link removed], or contact one of our local officers.
• The latest issue of Mensa World is now online.
• And just a reminder for all you Jeopardy hopefuls… The GLAAM RG (February 18-21) will include a Jeopardy! contestant search. This could be your chance at wealth and fame!
