NaNoWriMo Begins Tomorrow

November is National Novel Writing Month — the month when thousands of people around the world each attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Impossible? Apparently not, as there are many winners every year, and a handful have even gone on to be published (after much revision, no doubt).

Your OKMensa staff will be participating this year, and we would like to encourage more COM members to give it a try. If you’re interested, go to the web site, sign up, then come back here to leave a comment (or contact us directly) so we can encourage our members to reach that 50K goal. Also, be sure to check out the NaNoWriMo forums — there’s a section specifically for Oklahoma which will have announcements of local get-togethers.
