World Gathering Entertainers, Packet Donors Needed
Posted in National Mensa on May 30, 2006
Are you an entertainer — amateur or professional? If so, consider signing up to perform at the 2006 Mensa World Gathering (WG06) in Orlando, Florida, this August. Dan Gilmore, who has produced ensemble shows for Mensa Gatherings since 1985, is working on something new for WG06, called “The Two Per Cent Show.” He’s looking for scripts, script ideas, and instrumentalists (music reading ability is a huge plus). If you have a song, a sketch or an act that’s humorous AND Mensa-oriented, that’s even better. If you think you’ve got what it takes, click ‘Read More’ below to contact Dan.
If you’d prefer a different kind of attention — like some attention for your company — you might be more interested in donating items for the registrant welcome packets. Donors will be listed in the WG06 program book. Click ‘Read More’ below for details.
Contact Info:
- The Two Per Cent Show: You can contact Dan Gilmore in Seattle, Washington, by email at himself@att.net or by telephone at 206-248-0100. Dan is on West Coast time, so please be kind and remember that when you call.
- Welcome Donor Packets: Suggested welcome packet items include key chains, mugs, water bottles, sample magazines, and pens or pencils — but feel free to use your imagination to come up with items that are unique and that will bring your message to the World Gathering 2006 attendees. Contact maureen.mcbride@lamrc.com to make arrangements.
