I asked for contributors to January Mensokie to write about how you were treated in your school system: Did your school system recognize giftedness? Or was it a school that mainstreamed you into classes that bored you quickly?

I'm asking again -- I really would like to hear from you about this subject, especially from you who have gifted children -- they will need special understanding from the system. Because they're in a minority, bright children can be categorized by educators as troublemakers and/or even retarded! Please share with us?
