The next Mensa test has just been scheduled! The test session costs $40, payable by check or money order to American Mensa, Ltd. The test session takes about 2 1/2 hours. During that time, two tests are administered, with a short break after the first test. You need to score at Mensa admission level on only one of those tests to be offered membership in Mensa. Other than the test session fee (payable at the time of the test), you will need a photo I.D. If you are not fluent in English or are under 14 years old, we cannot administer the Mensa tests to you. If you are under 18, you will need a parental consent form. If you need one, just contact the testing coordinator and she will send one to you immediately.
Testing is fun. Most of our test takers enjoy it once they begin the procedure. We seem to have a large rate of admission offers in our chapter.
Reservations are required. We have to know how many are coming so we bring enough materials and have an assistant tester if there are more than five test takers. If you are definitely able to make the test on March 1st, please contact the testing coordinator as soon as possible. Your e-mail will be your confirmation. At that point, she will send you the exact test location.
