It's the Member Appreciation Party: MAP. We hope you'll use this map to find the route to even more fun in Central Oklahoma Mensa. There will be plenty of eating, drinking, and talking, with a sumptuous array of food. You are bringing a special treat to share, right? COM is providing the champagne, coffee, and even a breakfast casserole or two. We're eager to see what you will be adding to the table. And while we're sharing a roll or two, there's a role for you to play in the chapter.
We've been very grateful to see more people attending more events and even a few members stepping up to fill some of the needs of the chapter. We want to offer our sincere appreciation to them at this brunch.
And, we need yet more people to volunteer for many positions in COM. Filling those positions makes light work and more fun for everybody. Enjoying the events? Then step up, please, and let someone on ExCom know that you would like to take a small (or large) part in our group -- host an event, write an article, send an idea for a speaker, run for a seat on the ExCom, etc. So, this brunch is a map for the current ExCom, too. Help us find you.
Or just come share yourselves this spring morning. We're bubbling over with enthusiasm at the energetic growth of this chapter, and we're celebrating with bubbly stuff. Come raise a glass, and toast to the health of the chapter and to fun and to making growth pleasurable. Bubbles to all of us!
