Free admission to Oklahoma City's biggest and most fun-filled annual outdoor event. It's The Festival of the Arts! While pets are not allowed, all two-legged smarties are. And being Mensans, we know where to gather: by the FOOD. We'll meet at the Mensa flag at the food court, which you can find easily by asking for International Food Row. Louanne will be there with a huge yellow flag bearing the Mensa “M” symbol. At that point, the group will determine another place to meet later to discuss everything they've seen and done. And there is lots to do and see. In the Myriad Gardens, find Windscapes, a kinetic art exhibit; stroll on Hudson Avenue through the booths of 144 Plaza Artists from across the nation; ogle the furniture showcase in Stage Center; enjoy four stages of non-stop performances, entertainment from dancing to singalongs to things you have not imagined. Treats for the tummy and the eye and the ear and the soul. All shared with fellow Mensans. Did I mention the incredible Strawberries Newport, with proceeds going to a non-profit organization and not just your hips?
Directions: From I-40, take any of the Downtown exits (Walker, Harvey, Robinson or Lincoln) and head north.
