Qualifications
The only requirement for joining Mensa is scoring in the top 2% of the general population on a standardized intelligence test. You may already be eligible based on prior test results. If not, we offer regular local testing sessions.
Evidence of Prior Testing
American Mensa accepts scores from approximately 200 different standardized intelligence tests. If you have already taken such a test, you can submit the scores of that test to qualify. See the list of accepted tests here.
The Mensa Admissions Test
If you haven’t taken an intelligence test or cannot locate your prior testing scores, you can take the Mensa Admissions Test, administered by a certified Mensa proctor. This battery of two tests is offered regularly. Contact our LocSec to find out about the next local testing opportunity.
